Best platform to know more about hip hop in Africa
Uganda just recently held the mtn hip hop awards but it feels like hip hop doesn't exist no more as the genre used to be back in the days as these guys start it out rapping and on the way tend to venture into some kind of music genres that are not understandable and relatable to hip hop and yet refers it to hip hop in Uganda we call it (kidandali)some sort of a dancehall genre that is not actually hip hop and that is killing hip hop in Uganda
We have the likes of mun g fik fameica feffe bussi big tril recho Rey gnl Zamba ruyonga pryce teeba the likes of byg Ben the mith mayanja tucker hd st nelly sade navio crysto panda and more who tend to do some different genres but come back and fourth and do hip hop but literally get no attention paid to to the quality of their work and that is really killing hip hop in Uganda
