We sat down with Colin Mraz and KT Kanazawich and talked about the promising new venue and art space in the 607, they along with others have put a lot of hard work and love into this space. It's a good edition to the local scene. We're very excited for the future of this space and cannot wait to see what else is to come. Along with it being a music venue, Avenue DIY is also an art space and can be rented out for literally anything! Talking with them just after set from Binghamton Style 2017, Jukai are some of the most hardest working people that hardcore has to offer. They take great pride in not only playing music but their passions outside of the music scene, from teaching to plumbing to majoring in english and everything in between, these guys are incredible Their commitment to working full-time jobs and being in a full time band is probably one of the most inspiring things going on not just in hardcore but in the music scene as well and when asked about it they wouldn't have it any other way and that's what the spirit of Hardcore and DIY are all about.

Quite possibly the one of the most enthusiastic people in the Binghamton Hardcore scene, Raven shows us what the true spirit of D.I.Y. and punk are all about. Composed mainly of high school students Dirty Bandaid is one of the younger aged bands in the scene. They truly set an example for not only younger kids interested in punk and hardcore but also smashing steryotypes and sexism within society. I wish I had tracks to put in the description but they have nothing released as of now.
