Thanks to Alexander Nehamas, we're looking at some modern thought on friendship this week.

Also, I reveal that I left out (on purpose) an important part of the tale of Damon and Phintias last time and, like, almost all of the major plot points of Thelma and Louise!

Given that we're taking a look at friendship, we have a bit more of an informative episode this week: together, we'll examine what Aristotle thought about the whole concept of philia and how it was implemented into Greek legends.

Next time, we'll hear some more recent thoughts on friendship and some modern re-workings of Damon and Phintias.

As we reach the end of our examination of Medea, it becomes clear how her tale has remained relevant.

In this episode, we hear about how Jason wronged Medea and the problematic lengths she went as she sought retribution. While I think we can all agree that murder is inexcusable, I hope that, at least, some light is shed on Medea's actions.
