    214. The Acolyte S1E3 Instant Reaction + Netflix’s Under Paris

Socially Distanced returns to a galaxy far, far away with a deep dive into The Acolyte Episode 3.

"The Human Star Wars Encyclopedia" Amanda Rivas is in the hosting seat of the Jedi Council and is joined by Pop Break's Editor-in-Chief Bill Bodkin, Pop Break staff writer and resident reviewer of The Acolyte Amanda "Amanda Jr." Clark and special guest Jeff Fountain of the United States Department of Nerds (USDN) Podcast.

In the episode, they discuss the coven of space witches and their ideology and how it clashes (or doesn't) with that of the Jedi. They dissect the controversial approach the episode took with how they painted the Jedi's recruitment methods as problematic. They theorize about who killed the coven and praise the children portraying the twins and how they brought a sense of realism to their roles.

In the pre-game segment they have a laugh about the new hot Netflix film -- Under Paris.
