Cultivating deep friendships leads to lifelong happiness. While relationships are common, they are often complicated. This series will explore God's superior way for approaching our relationships.
DISCUSSION
1. Ps Caleb proposed, 'The cost of secular-individualism is loneliness' in our society. Do you observe this also?
2. Read Phil 2:1-11 together. How does the passage reveal Jesus' approach to friendship? How does Jesus the better 'best-friend' help us be a better friend?
3. Review Dunbar's friendship circles. Discuss the current make up of your close friendships (two inner circles). Do you have too many Deal friends, and not enough real friends?

DISCUSSION
1. Using the Handout provided explain your Family Genogram highlighting any Generational themes, earthquake events and relationships that have shaped you as a person.
2. How did your family of origin share appreciation, complaints, hopes and wishes, and deal with conflict? How does this affect you today based on Exodus 34:6? (punish in the Hebrew means to repeat).
3. Pray for each others' families. Using the Handout provided explain your Family Genogram highlighting any Generational themes, earthquake events and relationships that have shaped you as a person.
How has being Born Again into Gods perfect family healed the wounds of your childhood? Name a wound or generational curse God is dealing with now (Mark 3:3135, John 1:1213, Galatians 4:6-7).
Pray for each others' families. For forgiveness, healing of curse sin, honour of parents, restoration of relationships, etc.

Reflect on your childhood and/or parenting. Where do you see the evidence of Blessings and Curses?
Ps Caleb unpacked Three keys of Biblical parenting: Teach, Train, Transition. How prevalent were they in your childhood and/or in your parenting today?
Read Galatians 3:1314 (NLT). Share examples of how Christ has rescued you from the curse of sin. Pray specifically for areas where this truth has not yet become a complete reality.
