Welcome back T&J fam! We are excited for each episode, but this episode holds extra value to us! Josh opens up about his recent study of the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. We discuss the theories behind how these were written and the different pictures of Jesus each paints. Josh acknowledges how one of the biggest critics of scripture helped him better see Christ for who he is and discusses how it seems like the four gospels contradict each other. This proves to be one of the most enjoyable episodes for us to record, so we hope you enjoy it just as much!

Welcome back T&J fam! This week we pick up where last week ended; the Bible. In order to use the Bible as a data point, we need to figure out if it can be trusted as a reliable, valid source. So, we try to do just that - explore the legitimateness of the Bible. As arm chair theologians we recognize that there is much more information our there than we can process, but we do our best to throw out what influenced our decision making. We define the "canon" and look at both internal and external variables that help us understand scripture. We then touch on ways this can be read and understood. As always, we hope you enjoy. We are back T&J fam! And y’all are in for a treat. We explain the tension we tried to create during the last show and begin identifying who Jesus and the trinity are this week. We go back to the beginning … almost. This week we look at the Arian Controversy that led to the Council of Nicea and ultimately the Nicean Creed, which we still use today (Shout out Rich Mullins and Third Day). We look at the biblical information about the Godhead and begin to paint the picture of our faith. We hope you enjoy!

Welcome back T&J fam! This week we start the beginning of our Christian reconstruction with a rough launch. Due to sickness and scheduling troubles, we record a slightly shorter episode than normal via Zoom. But we would not let these barriers keep us from answering the question "Why did I ever start caring about God to begin with?". After discussing our personal experiences from childhood we look at some information we got from friends and families about this topic. These leads to a discussion on the influence of our culture and whether we were all just conditioned to believe this thing called Christianity.
