What if!?
What if…
damn what a question
A question that asks you to lay all your cards
A question that calls your bluff from the start
You can’t hide from it, as it asks you to believe and pull the card from the deck
What if…
It’s like an invitation to an adventure
A blank check to the treasure
A song yet to be written
A flower yet to bloom
What if, what if, what if…
My mind spins, and I shiver
It’s an undefined feeling that gives me smiles and tear
A ticking clock which makes you time travel to the possibilities of future
A desire, a dream, a hope… what if!? -
Morning
Wake up in the morning and hold me in ur arms.
Kiss my forehead and tell me that you love me.
Kiss my eyes and wipe the tears I slept with.
Kiss my cheeks and let me know that you dreamt of me.
Kiss my chin and tell me that you think I am stupid but I am your stupid.
Kiss my nose and tell me that you think that I am not supposed to stay angry with you.
Kiss my lips and tell me that you are mine.
Teach me how to love you.
Make me believe in love again.
Make me believe in being worthy of my love’s gaze.
Wake up in the morning and tell me… -
Look me in the eyes
Look me in the eyes and say,
Say that each moment was a lie
Say that each kiss was a way to say goodbye
Say that each hug was a lonely embrace
And love, say you won’t drop a tear when we part ways
Say that you never cared
Say that you got scared
Say that world matters more than love
And love, say that you will let this crush without a sigh
For I have heard someone say,
What is that love that’s scared to be there.
What is that love which won’t fight with the world for their love’s tears
What is that love that says, let’s part ways
For before you go, I want to know
Love, look me in the eyes and say. -
Introduction
Allow me to introduce myself
For all you know is a mirage, a trace
I don’t care for your grace
I don’t care if your desires are misplaced
I am the holy grail of love
the forbidden fruit they curse
I slay the desire of heaven
I dry the deep wells of hell
As innocent as I am,
There are curses that I dive in and dwell
You wish to smush me like a dropped flower
But how so u missed my pointed dreaded armour
Don’t be a fool and judge me yet
Cause I am a sweet dream of heaven and the nightmare from the dungeons of hell. -
Scratch Me Not
Every time you walk past that door,
You scratch my wounds
You make me crawl back in pain
You make me recall every hurt till date
Every time you promise to fix things up
A dent, a crack, a knot remains untouched
You still give me that unworthy vibe
You still make me helpless in my eyes
You still make me question every why
Every time you think you deserve
I ask where were you when people loved to hurt
I ask your intentions with me
I ask the reason for your absence even when you were present near me
And still you walk past that door
Scratching every wound of mine
Pausing to give a smile
You think you are doing right by me
You think you deserve my love till eternity
You think I need to be your undisputed legacy
You think… you believe… you choose
And I… stay still in pain, in agony
As you watch my scratched wounds
And you walk past that door with a smile
Walk past tht door… scratching me -
Mona Lisa
Blank canvas, blank page, blank...
Feels empty with no thoughts.
Or may be the thoughts are plenty.
Overlapping like the creepers,
that try to cover all the ground.
Unsure where it begins, where it stops, and where does it truly belong.
A destiny, a desire of sorts
Lost in the layers of infinite fear of first stroke going wrong.
Let lose O’ my mind.
Let go of the fear once in a while.
Let the Mona Lisa smile.
