    • Careers

There are three approaches to helping others: coaching, mentoring, and counselling. Despite having different meanings and perspectives, they are all interlinked in a continuum. Join us in this episode as we explain what each approach means and how to incorporate them in your practice. We will talk about the importance of discovering your own path to being an ethical coach who stands out amongst the others.
What You Will Learn In This Episode:
- The differences and similarities between three approaches to helping others
- The important coaching bodies and their definitions of coaching, mentoring, and counselling
- The right framework to follow for coaching in your area of expertise
- What the acronym ‘GROW’ stands for in the coaching space
Every client is very different from the next; some may require you to build a relationship with them at the beginning of the conversation, while others will not. When you identify the coaching skills you’re good at and that you feel confident about, you can easily navigate through helping your clients get what they are hoping to receive from you.
