001: Welcome to The Authentic Man Podcast

Welcome to the inaugural episode of the Authentic Man podcast. In this first episode I am going to begin laying out the groundwork for future episodes. We are going to be:

• Breaking down some modern definitions of masculinity
• And finding out what went wrong to make it such a dysfunctional definition
  
• We’ll talk about modern and ancient rites of passage rituals
  
• The sexual revolution
• And we’re going to lay out a new paradigm of masculine behavior

We’re going to go into a little detail about David Deida’s theory of Sexual Polarity and add a few nuggets of practical knowledge. I like to give props to the Men that I have learned from, so check out his book The Way of the Superior Man, as well as Sam Keen’s book Fire in the Belly: On Being a Man, which I also mention in this episode.
