Dr Hilliard shares what it must have felt like for the children of Israel after being in bondage for more than 400 years under Pharaoh a hard taskmaster and now to be free to worship the Lord without restrictions. Being overcome with such excitement and joy Miriam the sister of Moses took out a tambourine and begin to worship and dance before the Lord, along with all the women in Israel. Dr Hilliard compares that moment in history to what we in America experienced a few days ago. After President Joe Biden and vice president Kamala Harris were sworn into office. At that moment many Americans were dancing in the streets the fact that we now have a black female vice president, and a new administration is a time to rejoice and give praise and glory to God because of the many possibilities that await the black church and the rest of America.
