Welcome also to 2021 - the year that literally holds no promises except more unknown, probably more craziness and many more opportunities to create strong emotional and physical foundations and work through anything that’s out of alignment.
So to christen 2021 I bring you Sadie Cable.
Sadie is an extremely beautiful shining light who I admire greatly because she is constantly going against stereotypes and fully embodying her authenticity.
Also, since we’re in January, which is affectionately known as veganuary, I wanted to mark the occasion by creating conversation with Sadie who I class as the new type of vegan.
Historically vegan’s have had a really bad rap for being known as aggressive and confrontational and leaving their audience feeling shamed. But Sadie has found another way to get her message across and it’s profound and effective.
Sometimes these conversations are not about whether you agree with another person’s point of view or not but rather whether you’re open to listening and learning from each other.
We all just want to be heard, don’t we.
Sadie is an Educational speaker for Animal Aid; she co-created the UK’s first Vegan Staff Network in a County Council and has had a huge impact ono influencing policy and decision making in Suffolk, Uk.
She coaches other vegan professionals to start up initiatives in their own organisations, and recently started offering coaching sessions to animal rights activities who want to transform the way they do their activism.
Sadie has guest featured ono a panel with the US leading presidential candidate in 2016 talking about influencing policies AND has fostered 50 cats!
Sadie represents the future of new conversations, connections and veganism and I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
