In this episode, Doc Jen talks about how she got interested in what our bodies can do and how she could help people access that.
She highlights that if you want to have true integrity in your life, it boils down to how you treat your body. If we are out of integrity when it comes to our bodies, how can we approach other areas of our lives with integrity?
Doc Jen then speaks of the correlation between mobility and mental health and how the two are like   peas in a pod.
She emphasizes how she started sharing mobility workouts on social media to simply help people without the intention of growing a huge following or a brand and how when it did grow rapidly, she felt insecure about showing up as she did when it was just family and friends following her.
Finally, Jen speaks her truth vulberably and opens up about a very painful experience of infidelity from a long-time partner. She talks about how it is so important to share stories like this because there is no shame and it has to be shared so others can find the courage in themselves to share their truth.

Jason Van Orden ,

An immensely important topic; two women who really get it

Yasemin and Kimra are both such kind-hearted and wise women, exactly who you want talking about a topic as important as mental health. I’m grateful for quality content like theirs that raises awareness and shifts the conversation.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!

This episode spoke to me on so many levels! Yasmin is my precious JHS teacher and I’ve followed her journey over the years. She’s actually one of THE most Inspiring teachers I had in my life. She was all about independence and the women and working hard to reach your goals. She even taught us so much tacked on how to deal with situations just by modeling them. I loved hearing more about her life and the many parallels her and I and so many other people share!
Thank you so much for opening up! I feel like we just hung out over coffee!! Can’t wait to hear more!!!

A MUST listen for all entrepreneurs!

I am SO grateful that Kimra and Yasmin stepped forward to open up this much needed conversation! Very few are talking about how mental health issues impact how we run our businesses, and what kind of support is most effective when you need it. As a therapist and entrepreneur myself, I know without a doubt that the entrepreneurial path is one of the most demanding self-growth experiences you will ever sign up for! I love how both of these women share the “behind the scenes” truth about what it takes, the impact it has had on their lives, and offer real solutions to their listeners. I’ve learned SO much from the episodes I’ve listened to even though I have expertise in this area. This podcast gets my highest recommendation! Well done ladies!!
