#025 A Talk with OITNB's Rebecca Knox Creating Behavior with Charlie Sandlan

    • Performing Arts

This week Charlie talks with Rebecca Knox, an actor, writer, producer, and director, who was most recently seen in the last two seasons of Orange Is The New Black. Rebecca discusses her audition for OITNB, which was only one line for a small two episode part, and how that turned into a 13 episode supporting character, the Oxy addict Tina Swope. Rebecca offers her approach to auditioning, and talks honestly about her struggles during the opening months of the pandemic, and what she does to continually renew her creative drive. Charlie also shares his thoughts on the election of Joe Biden, and some inspiration he found in the artist Ansel Oommen, who has discovered a way to transform his experience with the pandemic into art.  You can follow CBP on Instagram @creatingbehavior, and Charlie's NYC acting conservatory, the Maggie Flanigan Studio @maggieflaniganstudio.
