Today, I have the pleasure of welcoming the incredible Salwa Abdul Hadi, an empowerment & leadership coach and a passionate gender equality advocate, on a mission to empower female social entrepreneurs and purpose driven professional women to step into their power, rise up and grab their seat at the table of change.
In this episode, we talk about Salwa's incredible journey before and after discovering coaching and self-development. We had a profound conversation about what it means to be a Muslim woman and a woman in the corporate world. Salwa elaborated the concept of what she calls a disruptive woman and the changes disruptive women can produce.

Salwa grew up with an ingrained idea that gender was indicative of her inferiority. Her gender role expectation was to be meek, modest, and obedient. It wasn't until she discovered self-development that she cleared those ingrained beliefs, and she rediscovered herself as a worthy, strong, and authentic leader she is today.
