A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part Three)

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part Three)

    🐓WAKE UP THE PODCAST
In this episode, we have the final part of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. If you haven’t listened to his parts one and two yet, go back and get caught up.
Michael’s experience was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we ended up with three parts, and they’re all worth the listen!
In part three, he talks about:
-purging and letting go-the vivid vision he had-the connection of past lives-walking through darkness to find the light-where he’ll go from here
As I’ve said before, my experience has been difficult to describe with words and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part Two)

In this episode, we have part two of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. If you haven’t listened to his part one yet, go back one episode and get caught up.
Although we went on this journey together, we knew we had to have our own individual experiences. Michael’s was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we’re breaking it up into three parts.
In part one, he talks about:
-the special blessing he received-how ceremony two was wildly different from one-taking an additional shot-how the maestra helped him purge-an unexpected encounter he had
As I’ve said before, my experience has been difficult to describe with words and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part One)

A Different Kind of Ayahuasca Experience (Part One)

In this episode, we have part one of a discussion with my husband, Michael, as he opens up about his first Ayahuasca experience. I shared about mine in the previous two episodes if you’d like to go back and get caught up.
Although we went on this journey together, we knew we had to have our own individual experiences. Michael’s was so radically different from mine. His story is much more involved, too, so we’re breaking it into three parts.
In part one, he talks about:
why he signed up for Ayahuasca
    facing the darkness inside him
    what he learned about coincidences
a connection he made about healing generational trauma
and why he chose to share this very personal story
As I’ve said before, my experience has been challenging to describe with words, and I think that’s doubly true for Michael. His story is longer and more complicated, but we’ll do our best to keep it organized. Thank you for listening with curiosity and an open mind.

My Unlikely Trip Into Psychedelics (Ayahuasca Part 1)

My Unlikely Trip Into Psychedelics (Ayahuasca Part 1)

In this episode, I dive into my first experience with Ayahuasca (in the Shipibo tradition). It has taken me a half a year just to put words to this week-long retreat that you, dear listener, might understand. This experience has been decades in the making, and I want to try to give you the most honest and authentic recap of my entire experience.
Also, we’re breaking this convo into two parts so it doesn’t run three hours long because I’m not Joe Rogan, obviously!
In part one, I take you through:
-my fear-filled journey leading up to Ayahuasca-the intense preparation-getting to Costa Rica
-an overview of a 7-day retreat-a peek inside my first ceremony (and I'll tell you where I went)
Like my Ketamine sessions, this experience has been difficult to describe with words, but I’m here to give it my best shot. I hope you’ll bring your curiosity and listen with an open mind.

bananamom2 ,

Welcome back!

LTM is back! Although I enjoyed the Boss Up podcast, you grow so quickly in your personal and professional life that I can tell your perspective has grown a ton since your last podcasts were uploaded. I may not have much in common with your lifestyle anymore, but I can certainly learn from your experience and perspective in business and in life. You are relatable no matter what path I’m on. Thank you for taking the time and effort to document your thoughts and experiences for others to learn from.

Andrewskis ,

Please come back!

I really loved where this was going but I’m sad there aren’t more episodes.

Laurknotter ,

Yay!

I have been following you since the Lemondropper days and hung out with you so many times in Colorado and Utah! So proud of you!
