032. A First Look Is Your Choice Weddings & Life Podcast with Taylor Nicole

    • Society & Culture

Have you heard of a 'First Look' on a wedding day? It has become fairly common now for the bride and groom to have a first look and see each other before the wedding ceremony. This idea can even be pushed as the "only option" by wedding vendors but that is simply not the case.

In this episode Taylor shares first look facts about how a first look impacts a wedding day timeline. Why you might want to consider a first look or what to consider if you do want to wait until the ceremony, things you can do to make your first look meaningful and more.

Including a first look in your wedding day can be a great idea, but if you'd prefer to wait to see each other until the ceremony that doesn't automatically mean a hectic timeline or no photos etc. There are alternative timeline ideas that can still help you finish some of the portrait load before the ceremony and free up a bit of time during the cocktail hour.

The most important part of the decision about a first look is making sure you are on the same page as your partner and then going from there.
