035: How Do You Fund Your Own Films (with filmmaker Alexandra Boylan‪)‬ The Working Director

    • Film Interviews

How do I get money for my own projects? I get asked that question more than any other. The problem is there's no rule book or guide that works 100 percent of the time. You could raise 700k for one, be a success financially, and still struggle to do the next. That's why we are going to bring you several interviews this year from filmmakers who have done it. We'll ask them how they did it and get some new tactics to try.

First up is filmmaker Alexandra Boylan. She's raised money for 8 feature films, and all have made their money back. How did she do it? We ask her in today's episode.

(Episode 35)

Hosted by Director/Producer Jenn Page.
