005 Are Values Really Important in Business‪?‬ Actually® Making a Difference with Sara Price

    • Careers

In this episode we take a look at business values - or what I call principles - what they are and why they ARE important. I talk about the difference between ‘values’ and ‘principles’, why I prefer the latter term, and why you should always keep your principles in mind when making decisions about business and marketing.
What You'll Learn:
Why I talk about ‘guiding principles’ rather than ‘values’Why having solid and concise guiding principles will benefit your business The origin of the word "principles" and its application to how you run your businessHow your principles help you stand out in the crowd and cut through the noise of your industry

Your principles must be reflected in every aspect of your business, from the wording in your marketing to sales to customer service. When we don’t live up to our principles - we undermine people’s trust and lose their confidence in us which in turn will damage our ability to be out there and Actually Making a Difference.
