053 Your Position in Christ Kitchen Table Theology

    • Christianity

“The elevated status which is ours in the Kingdom is from Christ. It’s in the spiritual realm, in God’s Kingdom. That, however, doesn't mean that we wait until we get to heaven to have any authority or take our place of authority. We are there now.”
This is the first episode of our new series, "Your Position In Christ". Today Jen and Pastor Jeff discuss what it means when the Bible tells us that we are raised, seated, and united with Christ, and how that sheds light on God’s will for our lives and our spiritual walk.

Have you ever found yourself saying, “I'm not in the position to help you right now?” A lot of Christians have fallen into the problem of not knowing what their position is in Christ. [06:15 - 09:27] Walking in the Life Christ Wants for Us
Paul tells us in Romans 5:17 that we are free to reign with Christ. We’ll never confidently walk in this freedom if we don't know we have it. [09:28 - 16:47] What Then Is Our Position In Christ?
