179 Leveraging the Power of Polarities: Interview with Dr. Barry Johnson

179 Leveraging the Power of Polarities: Interview with Dr. Barry Johnson

When faced with tension or a dilemma, many people seek to resolve it by focusing on one solution or another. However, in situations where a polarity may be at play, supplementing this “either/or” thinking with “both/and” thinking is crucial for successfully navigating change and conflict, thereby leading to better results and greater harmony.
As the creator of the first polarity map and set of principles, Dr. Barry Johnson has been sharing his passion for polarity thinking with a wide range of organizations around the world since 1975. He is also the chairman of Polarity Partnerships, which has helped build a collaborative international community of polarity practitioners, and the author of “Polarity Management: Identifying and Managing Unsolvable Problems.” In Episode 179 of The MINDSet Game® podcast, Barry discusses the following:
The concept of polarities – which are interdependent pairs that need each other over time, as well as energy systems in which we live and work – and why it’s crucial to understand them The importance of distinguishing between problems to solve and polarities to leverage Real-world examples of companies that have navigated polarities in order to optimize results  How polarities may be particularly helpful in the context of organizational change To learn more about polarities and access a variety of resources, including training and certification programs, visit https://www.polaritypartnerships.com, or email Barry at barry@polaritypartnerships.com.

178 Tapping into Your Body's Innate Wisdom: Interview with Dr. Craig Weiner

178 Tapping into Your Body's Innate Wisdom: Interview with Dr. Craig Weiner

Throughout our lives, we all have experiences that may feel traumatic to some extent. Whether we realize it or not, these experiences often leave a lasting emotional and psychological impact, which can manifest in physical conditions or illnesses – sometimes many years later. Therefore, when seeking to overcome illness and achieve greater wellness, it may be beneficial to get curious about the psycho-emotional roots underlying our physical health and develop new patterns focused on healing.
One approach that aims to better understand and leverage the power of the mind-body connection is called META Health, which is based on the belief that our lived experiences often show up in our physical and psychological health as symptoms, diagnoses, and conditions. In Episode 178 of The MINDSet Game® podcast, we discuss this approach with our guest, Dr. Craig Weiner. As a doctor of chiropractic medicine and certified META Health trainer, as well as the co-director of the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping Training Institute and an approved Matrix Reimprinting trainer, Dr. Weiner is an expert on EFT Tapping and other techniques intended to alleviate physical pain and emotional distress, while helping others understand the mind-body connection and feel more empowered when it comes to their own health. In this week’s episode, Dr. Weiner discusses the following:
The importance of approaching physical symptoms with curiosity and tapping into your body’s innate wisdom, inquiring about what it may be trying to heal or to show you  How the language you use to describe what you’re experiencing physically may be a clue to the psycho-emotional roots of your condition How “UDIN” moments – which are unexpected, dramatic, and isolating moments in which you felt, at the time, that you had no resources to cope with them – can create patterns that eventually affect your physical and mental health Steps and techniques that can help you shift harmful patterns and move toward healing To learn more about Dr. Weiner and his trainings, visit https://www.efttappingtraining.com or email him at craig@efttappingtraining.com.

Vered’s work is likely to change your life

I work with a couple dozen CEOs. The work that Vered does with mindset and the brain-body connection is probably the single most helpful thing to help them deal with the ultra-complex and almost overwhelming decisions they face including their lives outside of work. Many talk about this stuff these days, but Vered makes it so actionable!

Worth every minute of your time!

The Mindset Game podcast is worth every minute of your time! Vered and her guests always give clear actionable steps. I love how Vered will ask her guests “now, for those you are listening and feeling (insert feeling her) what would you tell them to do?” It’s that question there that you walk away with something to implement immediately.

I find personal growth and development takes time and action. The Mindset Game podcasts offers many tools to find your path through life, your mindset, and guides you to the next life chapter or helps you through any situation you are in.

I have recommended this Podcast to many of my friends and colleagues. Take a listen, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you Vered and guests for adding such value!

I’ve only just begun…but can’t stop!

I was referred to the podcast and started at the beginning (of course!) even though some of the episode titles grabbed my interest while scrolling through. So far, Vered’s episodes have been short enough to fit conveniently into my day, rich enough to keep me tuned in, and practical enough to help me actually make use of what she shares. If you’re looking for short sound bites that give you an insight and a practical take away, I recommend a listen!
