In this episode, I interview my friend Sean Percy Travis. Sean is a full time firefighter and the founder of Functional Hero and The Calling Man. Sean is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, and a Certified Personal Trainer with ACE and NASM. He has degrees from Loyola Marymount in Biology and Health and Body Sciences, and is currently in his masters and doctorate program for human performance.

We discuss his journey to becoming a first responder as well as what led him to burnout and how he was able to bounce back better than ever. We get into sleep (and the negative impact shift work has on your circadian rhythm and how to combat it), optimal training for different goals, and biohacks.

This episode was super fun to record because it was an in-person interview.
