076 Just One More Mile How Winners Win

Most full marathon (26.2 miles) training plans range from 12-20 weeks. Now, imagine not being a long-distance runner but committing to a 38-mile run in six weeks. On July 20th, Daniel Blue did just that and some (all thanks to a personal goal set forth by his good friend Trevor Cowley). In this episode, Daniel and Keitoh talk about his preparation and mindset going in to this feat and the challenges and lessons he faced during the run.

"Learning how to handle my emotions. Learning how to not give my pain a voice. Also, learning how to have that runner's high of wanting to conquer the world and feeling like I'm king of the world to taming that. And be like, 'dude, one more mile, just focus on what's in front of me. Just one more mile.' And, that's the same thing with you guys. Right? You're building a business, you're trying to get a raise. You're trying to get a different job. You're trying to lose weight. Just focus on one brick at a time." -Daniel Blue on applying what he learned running 41 miles to business and personal life.
