Cougar Sports with Ben Criddle (BYU)

While I will be clicking the delete, off, or fast forward buttons during any future Kevin Reynolds appearances, Criddle’s show remains a great way to get one’s daily dose of BYU sports. Guest commentators have increasingly consisted of his sponsors of late for whatever reason. Having noted that, the show still secures an interesting lineup of player interviews and commentary from former players and media personalities with current and/compelling takes re: BYU sports. The practice reports and direct interactions with players during training camps and throughout the season help keep the show current and fresh. Ben is effective in generating dialogue about BYU sports that’s usually focused on the big issues of the day of which fans are most interested. He, Gurney, RWIII, Brett Hammer, and others have a good dynamic together. The show remains a great drive time fix for the BYU sports fan.

Love Ben. My wife listens too and tells me “He’s making up words!” I tell her no those are real words LOL. I love his enthusiasm and his pontification as he ideates on my favorite passion. He makes the long summers more tolerable. I never miss a podcast. I love Gurney. He’s my favorite “Scooby doo” impersonator. He has such insightful and excellent takes. And “Ronald the Three Man Weaver” such a talent for such a young man that jumps right in and fills in with eloquence. Finally the guest are wonderful, insightful and just plain entertaining and edifying from a BYU fan point of view

Ben really knows his stuff and always has great guests and co-hosts. I really like ronald too. Lots of great content every weekday so I always have something to listen to

Great show about BYU sports. Very in depth insight and lots of great guests join the show. Faith, Family, Football! I only wish they uploaded the episodes quicker after they air live!
