In part one of this mini-series, Lauren Schramm, Brooklyn-based personal trainer, talks through how to approach your goals and lifestyle changes with the correct mindset in order to set yourself up for success. 

Lauren discusses common issues she runs into with clients in the following four categories:

  • NERVOUS SYSTEM - stress, sleep, the breath
  • INTAKE - diet, alcohol + caffeine consumption
  • MENTAL - nature, mindset, internal dialogue, meditation + resources
  • PHYSICAL - sitting, overtraining, lack of rest, excessive stimulus

She then goes onto provide techniques to build awareness within your own life and potential solutions you may wish to implement.
