This week, we are breaking down the benefits of time under tension and focusing on slowing down during your resistance training. So many of us are only focused solely on calories burned that we blow through our workouts and try and get each movement done as quickly as possible. The reality is that SLOWER is truly the way to FASTER growth. Growth in terms of efficiency, building lean muscle, improving form, mastering complex movements, and getting strong. As an added bonus, slowing down will also decrease your risk of injury and improve recovery time. That is pretty powerful if you ask me.
