    Cecil Lammey | Hour 2 | 2.12.20

Cecil says Danny Trevathan is not the player he once was, but the price on him is good. Make way for Cory Littleton if the LA Rams part ways with him, and maybe it’s time to consider Joe Schobert as a playmaker that creates turnovers.

Cecil takes a look at Breshad Perriman and Rashard Higgins as free agent receivers the Broncos should target, and says Byron Jones could be a target while Chris Jones is a pipe dream.

Cecil says Joe Flacco can’t run the plays Drew Lock can, and it’s time to move on from Flacco and move forward with Lock.

Cecil  wants the CU Buffs to keep the attitude they had when Mel Tucker was here, and tries avoiding beating a dead horse with names that could take over as Buffs head coach. Cecil says the Buffs will be fine, Mel Tucker simply doubled his money and he’s actually excited about the Buffs’ future. Cecil says the CU Buffs are now a stepping stone just like Utah or CSU.

Cecil says Laviska Shenault Jr.’s body is betraying him again, and Shenault is now projecting as a second-rounder after Adam Schefter’s injury report about Shenault’s hip. Cecil thinks it would be heaven-sent if Andrew Thomas fell to pick no. 15 overall.

Cecil says the next contract for Devonta Freeman will be a cheap one, and Phillip Lindsay is more than what he’s shown in the last two years. Cecil thinks Devonta Freeman is a veteran Denver could rely on to push Royce Freeman while Royce finds his confidence.

Cecil warns the Broncos that they could be about to make a huge mistake with their money again, and notes that Byron Jones only has four INTs. Cecil says the secondary is not where the Broncos want to spend their money.

    Cecil Lammey | Hour 2 | 2.11.20

Cecil explains why free agent wide receiver Robby Anderson does not make sense, and counters Tyler Polumbus’ offer with a combo of Rashard Higgins and Danny Trevathan as free agent pickups.

Cecil talks about the 49ers and the chances that they pick up the fifth-year option on Arik Armstead, as well as when Broncos fans can expect Denver to make a decision on the fifth-year option on Garett Bolles.

Cecil opens his pay or pass segment talking about the mysterious injuries that caused Bryce Callahan to miss out on ever starting 16 games and if money spent on Justin Simmons & Kareem Jackson is going to reset the safety price tag and set the market once more.

Cecil gets into what Denver would be paying for with Byron Jones in a Fangio system, and why he is worried about Jones’ number of interceptions.

    Cecil Lammey | Hour 1 | 2.11.20

Cecil opens the show with news about Cowboys free agent cornerback being on top of the Broncos’ wish list. Cecil says Chris Jones in KC isn’t going anywhere, and the Cowboys will likely have more money to spend on free agents like Byron Jones than the Broncos will, depending on what happens with Dak Prescott.

Cecil begins his final ‘pay or pass’ segment talking about Justin Simmons, and notes that positional spending will be expensive this year. Cecil says Kareem Jackson was a great pickup, but the secret to Vic Fangio’s defense is you don’t have to pay the secondary.

1043thefan.com’s James Merilatt joins the show to say depending on how the dominoes fall, the Broncos will look for a veteran like Case Keenum or Trevor Siemian as a backup for Drew Lock, and if they decide to stay young at the backup position then a Brandon Allen type of guy will be considered. James’ biggest message is the Broncos need to find out what they have in Drew Lock.

Cecil says people are acting like interest from Denver in Byron Jones is breaking news when it’s not, and points out the fact that Colin Cowherd has the Broncos bouncing back in 2020 as an 11-win team. Cecil thinks a 10-win season is possible with good draft picks such as Henry Ruggs III and wants his listeners to separate click bait & hot takes from true belief.

Cecil says the best weapons are in LA and if Brady goes to LA they become the story of the offseason. Cecil thinks if it is not New England that Brady goes to, it’s likely the AFC West.
