Anxiety and ADHD are very different, but sometimes the symptoms can look similar. The correct diagnosis is critical to guide treatment and to make sense of things. As much as the right diagnosis can heal, the wrong one can also harm. Understanding how anxiety might look like ADHD, and the telltale differences between the two, can make an important difference in avoiding a misdiagnosis, and helping you deal with the symptoms that might be getting in your way.

She shares her personal story about living with a misdiagnosis of anxiety and depression, While trying to treat those conditions, she couldn't help but feel frustrated because nothing seemed to be working. Then one day she was tuning into a podcast and was listening to another's story about being diagnosed with ADHD and how that caused anxiety, and she immediately related to all that was being shared. Thanks to this podcast episode she listened to, she was able to seek out a correct diagnosis of ADHD Anxiety and treatment plan, and it's made all the difference.
