Strategy
As a lover of turn-based strategy or tactical games in general I really like your podcasts with a focus on a single game for a while and generally reviewing every aspect of the game. To notch podcast.
As Crusader Kings 2 player who has invested something like +200 hours into the game, I gotta say you definitely have to invest a lot of time, effort, and energy into the game in order to understand a lot of the mechanics of the game and some of the more nuanced strategies in order to grow your kingdom. But the payoff is definately worth it when you start a game with the goal to topple a neighboring empire and you finally succeed where youve sort of obliterated them from the map and created this fake history with a really interesting story. And your empire is sort of built open the bones of thousands of dead children.
Anyways, great podcast.
NIce change of pace from other gaming podcasts
So unlike the other gaming podcasts I listen to these guy focus on one game. It's really nice to hear people dicuss one game for an hour plus and really go over every nuance with a fine tooth comb instead of just hitting the bullet points in a 10 minute segment. They aren't playing super recent games but not ancient titles either.
The sound quality is really good, I don't know if they are all in the same room recording but if you told me they were I'd believe you. Everyone is clear and easy to understand.
I would like it if they put out more than one episode a month but what can you do, life happens. So give them a listen, I find it engaging and a nice alternative from other gaming podcasts.
