11: Transitions with Mike Freace CultureBus Tools Podcast

    • Business

How does one anticipate transitions in life and more importantly why are transitions so critical to one's development as a leader?

In this episode, Chris Rivers chats with Mike Freace, the Executive Director of the Charlotte Eagles, an organization on a mission to glorify God and see lives transformed by sharing the message of Jesus through the global environment of soccer.

How they go about doing this is through coaching, camps, soccer teams & tours.

Chris first met Mike years ago while living in Augusta GA.

Before leading the Eagles, Mike was the head Soccer Coach at Westminster Schools of Augusta. and under Mike’s leadership, their soccer team won 9 GISA state championship.

This is an impressive accomplishment for anyone, but what is more impressive is Mike's attitude on life and how he approaches his role as a coach on and off the field.

In this episode, Chris and Mike talk about their role as a function and not an identity. They talk about hearing God's voice, being in Community, and not allowing results to become more important than the process. As Chris and Mike talk about these ideas they find they are more willing to step into transitions with success!
