Today we're privileged to get the chance to sit down with the legendary Professor Shah Franco. Shah Franco's has accomplished more in the world of martial arts than most individuals can in achieve in a single art. One of Toronto’s legendary MMA trainers, Professor Franco is one of the most respected and well-known Traditional and Modern Martial Arts Instructors in all of Canada. A Master of Traditional Karate (7th Degree Black-Belt, IKA World Champion, North American Champion, World Games Competitor), Professor Franco was one of the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners to be ranked to Black belt in Canada.
Under the guidance and teachings from Master Sylvio Behring, Professor Franco and his students were the beginning of the MMA and Brazilian JiuJitsu scene you see today in Ontario and spread throughout Canada. Many of the his former and current students are the foundation of what you see todays Canadian Brazilian JiuJitsu scene.
