You can go to the Nurse Practice Act, which is on the Board of Nursing website, to determine if you need one. You can also check with your professional nursing association or ask other healthcare professionals in your state.   Supervising physicians are also called delegating or collaborating physicians.                  Physician assistants cannot practice independently. They're required to have physician supervision. There are various types of agreements. Some states require formal written supervising physician protocol. Other states y require a written agreement. The least formal option is a verbal agreement. If you need to hire a supervising physician, you can find one through your own network, job sites or headhunters.            Typical compensation for supervising physicians can range from $500 to $2,000 monthly. Consult an attorney if you want to pay a supervising physician based on a percentage of the practice's revenue. If you work in an opt-out state, CRNAs don't need a supervising physician to be reimbursed by the Center for Medicaid Services. 3 KEY POINTS:
