#113 Is Hard Work Overrated? Here’s the Truth About “Grit”‪…‬ The Whiteboard Entrepreneur - with Devon Dickinson - Fuel The Entrepreneur in All Of Us!

    • Entrepreneurship

In this episode, I’m talking about why you need grit as an entrepreneur, but it won’t be enough on its own. We’ll dive into why there are cerebral things that go beyond hard work, like strategy and operations, the long-term value of getting out of the operations of your business, and why until you implement good strategies, you can work as hard as you want but your company will stay the same. Join me as we talk about all of that and more in this episode of the Whiteboard Entrepreneur Podcast.

I’m Devon Dickinson. I've been married for 25 years and have a family of 6. I've founded, bought, sold, and sometimes failed with 10 different companies. As an individual entrepreneur, my companies have been on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list longer than any other individual. I enjoy investing in real estate and I've coached soccer for the last 6 years; which seems to be what keeps me up at night. Although I now own several multimillion-dollar companies, I only started with $5,000 and a credit card. Before we get started, I should warn you that this is all true... I don't know the easy way in anything I only know “the hard way”. I want to help you avoid learning the hard way (where you can) through straightforward advice that will fuel the entrepreneur in ALL OF US!
