Was Donna Richmond's murder the end of a string of burglaries and homicides in small-town California? Was the wrong person convicted? This podcast provides new information and insight into Donna's case. We also detail a string of ransacking burglaries, the murder of another young teen, and the shooting of a father protecting his daughter as she was being kidnapped. The police came close to catching the ransacker, but he shot his way out. Were all of these crimes committed by the same person? Did he change jurisdiction to avoid detection? 101 Reasons Why ,

The Visalia Blinders . . .

12-26-75 is the only podcast that examines the links between the VISALIA RANSACKER and subsequent M.O. behaviors of California’s EAST AREA RAPIST. It also delves into the murders of two teenagers, Jennifer Armour and Donna Richmond; indirect evidence suggests the VISALIA RANSACKER was their killer. But in a rush to judgement (or worse), Oscar Clifton was convicted of Richmond’s murder. Armour’s murder remains unsolved.
With the 2018 arrest of former police officer Joseph DeAngelo for various EAST AREA RAPIST and ORIGINAL NIGHT STALKER killings, 12-26-75 provides the analysis that authorities should draw upon to impartially review Clifton’s conviction. And they should look for other crimes that could be tied to DeAngelo—surely Jennifer Armour’s murder demands, at last, a serious inquiry.
Long before DeAngelo’s arrest, task force investigators (lost in dead-end theories) were idly dismissive of relevant material delivered to them by the hosts of 12-26-75; like most of their predecessors on the cases, they were culpable (not unlike their elusive quarry) of being “. . . gone in the dark.”
Four months after DeAngelo’s arrest, he was charged yet again: a single count for the Visalia murder of Claude Snelling, shot while trying to rescue his teenaged daughter as she was being abducted by DeAngelo on 9-11-75. The key to preventing a large share of the agony and carnage inflicted by DeAngelo
in the years to follow was always Visalia. The key was there. That key was never turned.

Great Work.

Award winning work. Priceless job about TSO convicting in innocent man. Plus, one of the first to connect VR to EAR. Even when others were doubting.

Riveting, convincing

This is a podcast dedicated to exposing all the crimes of the Visalia Ransacker aka Golden State Killer back in the 1970's-80's. The VR killed Donna Richmond to frame Oscar Clifton angle had been called a "conspiracy theory" by some, but if a police agency criminally destroys evidence for a case still in appeal, that makes me wonder why. There's lots more - but warning, you'll need to take a deep dive. I'd like to hear the other side's deep dive in response (from the people who are sure Oscar Clifton killed Donna Richmond) if anyone has the courage and knowledge of the case. The companion site, the 12-26-75.com (and Facebook page) has a lot of reference & map material for the Tulare County crimes - as well as the entire Golden State Killer spree.
