More about Sherri:

Sherri K. Lindenberg is the principal of SKLD MarComms, which works with business leaders—from large corporations to small businesses and entrepreneurs—to design customized marketing and communications solutions that drive performance. She brings clear thinking, 20+ years’ experience, creative solutions, and process oversight to a wide range of challenges and opportunities, collaborating with clients to clearly define measurable goals and create actionable marketing strategies and campaigns to meet them.

Sherri previously sat on the executive team as senior vice president of marketing for Crump Life Insurance Services, a leading life insurance brokerage general agency in the US. She led a team of about 40 marketing, communications, event management, and sales professionals to strategically design and deliver creative internal and external marketing and sales programs and events. Working closely with the business units, the team provided high-quality, compliant programs, tools, campaigns, and processes to position the company and its brands, grow sales, and retain clients.

Sherri was with Crump from 2003 to 2023 and played a pivotal role in championing the company’s brands and its user experience vision for interactions with clients in all venues – from in-person and virtual meetings and events to print and electronic media, working closely with the company’s sales and leadership teams, while collaborating with the parent company to implement operational efficiencies and drive revenue. She served as the executive sponsor for Crump’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group and its Teammate Advisory Groups.

Her passion for event marketing led her to be an active member and past board member of Financial and Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP).

In 2015 she was named one of MeetingsNet magazine’s Changemakers “for energetically embracing what’s new and daring to try the untested in a risk-averse industry” and in 2017, Incentive Magazine named her one of the 25 “most influential people in the incentive industry.”

Sherri graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees, with high honors, in journalism and communications, with a certificate in public relations and a minor in communications. Sherri and her husband, Mark, reside in New Jersey and have two grown children.
