Awesome pod cast very thorough reporting
Outstanding podcast, darn it!
As a Massachusetts resident and true crime junkie, I was well aware of the Karen Read case, particularly over the last six months. However, I was doing my best not to go down that rabbit hole. Another podcast’s segment on the case along with a recommendation from a podcaster whom I admire and trust, and I listened to Episode 01 of The 13th Juror. The rabbit hole opened wide and I binged 16 episodes and I’m now checking my feed for the next one. Junkie, indeed.
Brandi is well spoken, concise, and thought provoking. Her timelines on her website are things of beauty. She’s fair and balanced but also doesn’t shy away from pointing the absurdities of this trial, of which there are many. She does not let her listeners forget that underneath the craziness of this trial, is a good man who lost his life and whose family deserves to know the truth.
Love this podcast, but hope …
that the sound gets more consistent. Not the trial audio, which I know is out of her control, but even the commentary sometimes gets very quiet and then very loud again. Content is great and very detailed and host is easy to listen to.
