In His prayer, He mentioned seven times that we were given to Him by the Father. Psalm 110 tells us that the Father has sworn to appoint the Lord as a priest forever for us. This shows the determination of the Father. It also shows the determination of the Lord—He became a Man forever, He died for us, He lives for us forever, and He lives in our hearts. From Song of Solomon chapter 8 and Luke chapter 12, we see that the Lord’s love is the strongest. It’s so precious that we are truly the ultimate love of the Lord.
