    303. Recall Realities

When it comes to training a behavior, including recall, there's no such thing as 100% reliability. What we're looking for is increased margins in your dog's ability to come when called. It doesn't mean your dog will come every single time you call them. In this episode, I debunk common misconceptions about recall training and share practical tips and strategies that actually work.

Great podcast for guardians of “difficult” dogs

I’ve just recently started listening but this is quickly becoming my favorite dog training podcast. I like that Rachel’s advice is practical for being out in the real world. I also appreciate how candid she is about her own dogs.

Quality information from a fabulous trainer

I am a positive reinforcement trainer (who has had the pleasure of getting to know Rachel as I also live nearby in Colorado), and her podcast is top notch. It’s full of practical advice for owners without talking down to you. Rachel is an amazing trainer and person and I highly recommend this podcast to anyone with dogs!

this podcast is a GEM!

THANK YOU for this podcast!!! You have taught me (and enabled me) to be the kind, compassionate, and intentional dog parent that I’ve always wanted to be. Thanks for making this information accessible and, yes, I do smooch my puppy for you :)
