385: [Healing What You Can't Erase] Jamie Winship on Inner Healing, True vs. Truth, and Why Emotions are Valuable Tools for Transformation

This week, we are continuing the launch of my brand new book, Healing What You Can't Erase. As I shared last week, this new series we're in will be unique. It's not as much an interview as it is a side-by-side conversation between me and some key people who have invested in my life. Today, we're diving into the content from chapters 9 and 10 of my book. Joining us is the one and only Jamie Winship to talk about inner healing and why emotions are valuable tools for transformation.
Now, ahead of our conversation, I want to invite you to do a few things:
Get a copy of my new book either in hardcover, Kindle, or audiobook format. Follow me on Instagram. My handle is @WINTODAYChris. This week, I'm giving away free Starbucks coffee as a simple "thank you" for your support of this show and my book. I'm also giving away a few signed copies of the book, and, I'll be hosting a few friends for Instagram live chats about Healing What You Can't Erase. Episode Links:

382: Dr. Joel Muddamalle on Coming to the End of Yourself, Dealing with Inevitable Delays in Life, The Conversations We're Afraid of Having, and Why Curiosity without Limits is Chaos

Today, I am thrilled to introduce you to an incredible thinker, theologian, and teacher. Dr. Joel Muddamalle, Director of Theology and Research at Proverbs 31 Ministries joins us today to talk about the inescapable aspects of life we are all marked by. We have less control than we want, more anxiety than we're comfortable with and just enough insecurity to continually remind us of our shortcomings. To experience these things is to be human. We aren't superheroes and invincibility isn't an option. But humility is.

Always insightful

Chris is an amazing interviewer. He asks incredible questions and goes deep into spaces the average podcaster wouldn’t touch. I appreciate how earnest he is in thinking of how his guest can best speak into the lives of his audience. He truly understands the power of a transformed life and how to encourage listeners no matter the season or stage of life they are in.

So thankful!

I’m so thankful for how you show up authentically with thoughtful questions & insight. You cultivate a depth of discussion that allows us to see things that can easily go unnoticed. I’m so thankful for these recent episodes with Tim Ross & Andi Andrew that are giving me words to the wall I’ve been wrestling with and a roadmap for transformation!

Simply the best

I’ve recommended various episodes of Chris’s podcast to friends and family more than any other resource for hope, encouragement, and super practical tools and information. He’s hands down the best interviewer I’ve heard, and the guests and topics he curates are fantastic and incredibly insightful.
