In this installment of our Amazon Seller Journey series we chat with Cara Sayer. Cara has an amazing story of going all in to create her business and brand. She is highly motivating to talk with as well.
In 2007, she was a new mum, desperately trying to get her gorgeous baby girl to sleep when they were out & about. It bugged her that she couldn’t find a product that solved her apparently very common problem, as she saw her friends struggling with the exact same thing.
Her breakthrough moment was in around mid-2008, she was sitting in Café Rouge, having lunch with friends, and they fed the babies first. Everyone put a muslin or blanket over the pram, to get them off to sleep – and she remembers thinking how ridiculous it was that there wasn’t a product out there!
So she decided to make one…and invented SnoozeShade (with ZERO experience in retail or manufacturing!)
SnoozeShade is now the world’s best-selling range of baby sun and sleep shades.
