#15: Boost your middle schooler's confidence today The Elevated Adolescence Podcast

    • Education

If your middle schooler's confidence is low - they aren't alone.

Social skills are rusty. Connections have been limited to online. And, they haven't had the freedom and space they need to experiment.

And, you know all-too-well that low confidence trickles into every aspect of life: relationships, learning, school, and life.

True, authentic confidence is an inside-out process.

A lot of people think it's about achieving something or having something external: the grade, the gadget, the outfit. But those things are meaningless if you're not confident on the inside.

In this week's episode, I share: what lack and acceptance have to do with it, how you can make an immediate impact today with what you express, and why working on this one area makes a huge difference.

Like anything in parenting, building confidence is not a sprint - it's a marathon. And, it can be a beautiful one if you're planting seeds along the way that the way they are (and you, too!) RIGHT NOW is enough.

Remember, you two were made for each other. Your willingness to show up and do what you can will pay off!
