    • Entrepreneurship

Today we welcome to the podcast Laurie Shiers, a Creativity Coach who believes that creativity has the power to heal our lives and change the world. She helps her clients uncover fresh insights and possibilities, develop powerful habits and create meaningful and lasting change.

Reconnecting with her innate sense of joy and wonder is what busted opened the door to Laurie’s own happiness and fulfillment. It allowed her to accept all parts of herself so that she could create with purpose, passion and joy, and align her inner world with her outer one.

Laurie began her professional journey as an actor, but chose to pivot to marketing when she faced significant struggles with her inner critic and an unhealthy need for external validation. As she continued to work as a shadow artist making content for other people, she couldn’t shake this nagging feeling that she was out of alignment. She pushed through the grind until personal tragedy, the loss of her brother Robbie, forced her to step back and re-evaluate everything.

In this episode, Laurie goes into how aligning her business with her ideal lifestyle helped her discover greater personal fulfillment, as well as how to better be of service to her community and clients.
