With a 10-year track record, Aya has collaborated with over 70 private, government, and not-for-profit entities in Saudi Arabia and internationally. Her expertise lies in developing and executing highly successful inclusion strategies and accessibility action plans. Aya's dedication to her field shines through her work with prominent organisations like the United Nations, G3ict, and IAAP.

    In this episode, she explains how businesses and individuals can inform and educate themselves to better understand the scope of accessibility more fully. And to appreciate that disability is not an insignificant minority, but actually affects us all. She also sheds light on the role that best practice guidelines and international standards play in the picture of inclusive design.

    Lush was founded in Britain and is a global manufacturer and retailer of fresh handmade cosmetics, who from the very beginning set out to do things differently. 95% of Lush's all year around product range is vegan. Sustainability and non-animal tested practices have been at their heart since the very beginning. The Co-founders have been influential in the push against animal testing since the 1970s and 80s, leading to the launching of a new policy in 1993, the non-animal tested policy, which is still in use today. The Green Hub is the nerve centre for the work towards a circular economy.
    We talk to Eloise about the circular economy, Lush's purpose and mission and how it has affected the way they make decisions, develop products and create a customer experience that keeps their customers coming back.

    In this episode, she talks to us about how consumers are becoming more aware and discerning about supply chains and labour, how conscious consumerism is helping to apply pressure on businesses to ensure that they're prioritising ethical practices, examples of what lies beneath low-priced goods, and how businesses and individuals can take steps to ensure they aren't unwittingly feeling crime, poverty and exploitation.
