When the thrill of the SEALS was lost to him, he turned to crime, and brought Erika with him. They wound up killing a couple as a dress rehearsal to kill Erika's wealthy parents. But, their capture is one of the more dumb ones, proving that criminals will usually take care of their undoing on their own.
