The University of Louisville recently initiated the 'Air Justice Louisville' website to examine environmental racism in Western Louisville. The website focuses on the past and present problem of air pollution near the Rubbertown industrial area, and provides resources for what residents can do about it. There are three candidates in the Democratic Primary for the District 6 seat on Louisville’s Metro Council.
