Welcome to Off Track Podcast and the second of our WorldSBK specials. After winning the Moto2 World Championship in 2021 Remy Gardner lasted one season in MotoGP before finding himself without a ride in the championship, a switch to GRT Yamaha in WorldSBK followed for 2023 and in 2024 that relationship continues. A stand-in ride for Alex Rins on the Factory Yamaha M1 at Sachsenring was a shot in the arm for the Aussie and he’ll get another chance at Silverstone for the British Round of MotoGP.
