In sales, act like everyone might buy something from you. Whether you think you're a salesperson or not, you're either good or bad at it—no escaping. Treat everyone like a potential buyer until they show otherwise. A story about Suit Supply shows how they didn't try to sell me a suit because I was dressed casually. They missed a chance to make a sale. So, always treat everyone like they could be a buyer until you find out otherwise.
