Kelcie Watts's Top of the 5th inning grand slam was the winning hit as the Tigerettes won their second state championship.

The Eagles scored six runs in the Bottom of the 1st as they claimed a second straight trip to the Class 1A Baseball State Tournament Championship Game.

The Tigerettes' offense was boosted by a six-run Bottom of the 3rd, but ace pitcher Kailey Plumlee made all 21 Eagleville outs: 20 strikeouts, and catching the game-ending pop-up.

Wildcats starter Christian Henderson had no strikeouts, but only gave up three hits, no walks, and hit no batters in five innings of work, while all nine Clarksville batters reached base at least once, and six of them scored at least one run, in a run-rule victory against the Redhawks to open the 4A State Tournament.

TJ Sims scored the winning run in the Top of the 8th, then struck out Bradley Pippin in the Bottom of the 8th to seal the Bulldogs' place in the sectional round.

The Warriors used a four-run Bottom of the 3rd to advance to the Region 4-4A Baseball Tournament Consolation Final, and end the Stars' season.
