24 // Finding Yourself Through The Fertility Journey with Kelsey Cohrt Real Heal Podcast

    • Spirituality

We spend most of our lives figuring out the best ways to prevent pregnancy. When we are finally ready to bring life into the world, many of us are quickly humbled and honestly confused to find out it is not as easy as we thought it was.

There are so many factors that go into the fertility journey and of course everyone's is so different. In today's episode you will hear from Kelsey Cohrt — she has gone through the rollercoaster of ups and downs trying to conceive "naturally", via IUI, IVF, surrogacy and more. Her commitment to understand how to best support her body on this journey was the catalyst that sparked her passion and blossomed her into her now career in health coaching. Eating healthy, healing her gut, exercise, meditation, therapy, acupuncture, energy healing and more have been tremendously helpful for her in so many ways — not just in fertility.

Her journey to motherhood doesn't have what she would consider a happy ending just yet but what's beautiful is that her and her husband are still exploring what that could look like.

Kelsey's story is so relatable and it's important, especially as more and more women are coming forward to talk about their frustrations along their fertility journeys.

We sincerely hope you enjoy the episode as much as we did. Kelsey is so kind and genuine — and we were honored to be able to be a part of her sharing her story. Enjoy!

XX,

Ash + Dan
