Being in the work is what grows you. If you knit socks and you dedicate your life to knitting socks, you’re going to learn some things. If you are a writer and you dedicate your life to your craft, you are going to learn some things. If you are a manager and you dedicate your life to your work and team, you're going to learn some things. If you are a business owner and you dedicate yourself to the work that your business provides, you will learn some things. Yes, you’ll learn some things about what you do, but you will also learn some things (a lot of things) about yourself along the way.
