Beth Segner is a math instructional coach at a K-5 school in Tennessee. She has experience in coaching new & veteran teachers, best practices for math instruction, co-teaching strategies, systematizing data meetings to maximize effectiveness, and math interventions for struggling students. Beth aspires to contribute to the work of developing teachers’ capacity to understand math more deeply, follow the CRA model for mathematical understanding, and reduce math anxiety in students. Her educational passions include developing number sense, conceptual understanding, productive struggle, and the belief that EVERYONE can learn math.
